Baughman Manor Bed & Breakfast was built first as a family home in 1879, and later became the first hospital located in Charlotte by folks who were present during the Lincoln assassination; it was later remodeled into a rooming house and then later into apartments. It sits now converted, and restored into the beautiful Victorian Bed and Breakfast that it is now.
